Fill out a cut sheet for each Hog or Half Hog. All cutting instructions are required on the day of slaughter to prevent any miscommunication. Mark the cuts you want. If nothing is marked for a certain cut, it will go with the trimmings for grinding.

If cutting instructions aren’t received the day after slaughter carcass will be cut standard.

Fees are charged on the carcass weight at time of harvest. This fee includes harvesting, chilling, cutting, packaging, sausage and smoking under USDA inspection. Further processing with Smucker’s is additional. All cuts are vacuumed packed, blast frozen and boxed. Lehigh Valley Meats charges $5 per day starting on the 4th day after communicating completion.

Sausage

There is a minimum of 25 pounds for each sausage flavor.

Hogs

Slaughter fee : (includes the heart and tongue as part of the slaughter fee)

$25.00 hogs dressing up 325 lbs.
$45.00 cattle dressing over 326 lbs.
Rendering fee: $6.50

Retail Ready (Hogs in lots of 2 or more with customers logo)

$ 1.39 per pound hanging weight (price includes sausage, curing and smoking of hams and bacon)

Custom Hogs (individual hogs)

$1.49 per pound hanging weight

Extras: (price per pound)
Smoke jowls $1.25 per pound
Smoked chops $1.25 per pound
Smoked sausage $0.75 per pound
Bulk box fat and or bones $10.00  per hog
Bulk bag offal (hearts and livers) $5.00 per hog

Check and Cash are the recommended payment methods.  Credit card customers will receive an additional 4 % credit card processing fee.
